Mandi is a Heart Mum and is very passionate about raising awareness and improving cardiac care in Jersey.

Andy has supported cardiac care for many years. Working in Finance takes up much of his time but he gives huge support to JHSG and his other love coaching St Lawrence FC.

Jersey born, Tracey has not only experienced breast cancer, but also had open heart surgery in March 2022 and more recently had a pace maker fitted. She wants to use her experience to help others and knows that having a heart condition can be very frightening and having the support of others who have been through similar things is hugely valuable.

Recently retired from Finance, Ian wanted to use his skills in helping a local charity and make a meaningful difference to our island community.

I volunteer for the Jersey Heart Support Group because supporting people affected by heart conditions is something I care deeply about. I have family members living with heart conditions. I want to help raise awareness, support families, and contribute to work that can improve and save lives in our community. Volunteering gives me the opportunity to give back, meet inspiring people, and make a positive difference through fundraising, events, and community support.

Also recently retired and with a background in administration, I'm used to keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Volunteering lets me bring those strengths to a cause I care about, helping the charity grow and ensuring our services reach the people who rely on them.

I am pleased to be part of this charity as my late father had heart problems for many years which resulted in open heart surgery. My husband also has a heart defect. I enjoy helping out at charity events and it is an honour to promote and raise vital funds for this charity.

Conor was born in Ireland and moved to Jersey in 2009. He was a previous committee member of the BHF and became involved whilst fundraising for previous challenges, having received the support of the cardiac team in Jersey. Balancing commitments through family, work and future challenges, he is keen to support JHSG and help the local community.

With cardiac issues impacting on my family I have a passion for the support that Jersey Heart Support Group provides. I enjoy training others on CPR and the use of AEDs and designing new awareness campaigns.
