Heart checks in the community
JHSG runs regular blood pressure and heart rhythm check events across Jersey, free and open to everyone. Keep an eye on the events calendar for the next check event, awareness day, or roadshow near you.
We work closely with the Jersey hospital cardiac team to ensure checks are carried out accurately and any concerns are referred appropriately.
What we check and why it matters
Many heart conditions have no obvious symptoms. A simple blood pressure or heart rhythm check can detect problems before they become emergencies, giving you time to act.
